Summary:

The Legal Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day quality assurance, organization, and supervision of assigned non-attorney team members and work flow in their respective areas to include: interviewing and hiring, non-attorney team member relations & retention, coaching, time card management, safety, client experience management and operations training in multiple departments in a fast paced, high volume environment. Promotes a positive and productive work culture for all non-attorney team members. Assists in planning practice area activities in support of Crumley Roberts' policies, goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Must be able to and effectively communicate, multi-task, problem-solve and to overall handle tasks quickly and tactfully with all team member levels and the public.

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills. Efficiently prioritizes and schedules problem resolution tasks. Escalates problems (when required) to the appropriate manager.

Assists in establishing operating policies and procedures consistent with the overall goals and objectives of the company.

May assist in the preparation of short and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.

Assists in developing and managing the processes needed for the organization's development and growth.

Analyzes key performance indicators to ensure a positive client experience and operational efficiency.

Assists in conferring with company attorneys/management to plan and develop methods and procedures to obtain and increase efficiency.

Ensures compliance concerning operational procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records.

Effectively troubleshoots workflow productivity issues and ensures compliance with operational processes and procedures as well as makes needed revision recommendations to manager.

Works with manager to make recommendations to improve operational workflow and efficiency.

Supervises and directs case management and administrative personnel.

Provides and directs consistently scheduled meetings and training with team.

Oversees and supervises multiple administrative and case management team members to ensure superior client care and operational efficiency. Ensures that company policies, procedures, processes and practices are implemented.

Champions and conducts performance management coaching and prepares appropriate documents.

Maximizes department proficiency through employees and other resources; researches and develops procedures that create timely and efficient workflow.

Must be able to administer/adhere to company policies and procedures. Must be able to effectively coach non-attorney team members and develop and maintain cohesive teams.

Performs timecard approval functions for operations department.

Travel is required and must be able to travel to multiple locations.

Performs other duties as needed and/or required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: includes, but may not be limited to the following:

Responsible for the coordination and supervision of assigned practice areas and non-attorney team members. Directly supervises non-attorney team members in multiple departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, practices and applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training non-attorney team members; planning, assigning and managing work; appraising performance, coaching, rewarding and disciplining non-attorney team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Promotes a positive and productive work culture for all team members.

Education and/or Experience:

College degree preferred and a minimum of three years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience legal experience with Mass Torts is preferred. Previous operations systems and process development experience preferred. Excellent customer/employee relations skills needed. Continued education credits that increase business and field knowledge is expected.
